I was the level designer behind this map. The idea was to recreate a fictionalised version of Kensington that would fit the art style of Super Squad. The map takes advatange of the use of lanes and shortcuts to aid the player in capturing the three checkpoints. Checkpoint B also allows for more movement and dynamic game play to create a "chokepoint" around the flag.
I also had the role of ensuring the level was completed on time cordinating with people on the team who were also working on the level. Once the first pass of the level was finished it was then handed over to be polished.
The map does re use a lot of assets we created for the orginal military maps but also features a whole range of new assets to give the level a different flavour from the other military maps in the game. e.g Houses, shops and other major structures.
